Welcome to Ector County, Texas

The Office of the County Clerk touches the lives of many people through the records that are maintained on a daily basis within the office. After working in the Ector County Clerk’s Office for 26 years, I was elected County Clerk in 2004. Having worked in the office for many years before becoming County Clerk, I have hands on experience and knowledge of the way documents were processed in the past as well as experience in the methods that are continuing to evolve in today’s office environment through the use of technology. My primary objective since taking office has been to improve efficiency in the office by streamlining daily procedures through automated systems and to provide convenient access to records both in the office and on-line. I am very proud of the accomplishments that have been made within the office these past few years. The citizens expect and deserve excellent service and I pledge to provide the best and most friendly service available. I consider it a true honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Ector County.
